This project is based in Central Mozambique and seeks to create spaces that amplify young women informal cross boarder traders’ voices and actions on social challenges that include criminalization, sextortion, poor working conditions, corruption, stigmatisation and limited access to credit facilities

Key accomplishments:

a) The project successfully hosted three workshops aimed at uniting young women’s voices towards building three market committees towards the freedom and prosperity of female traders in Chimoio and Beira.

b) The project facilitated the establishment of three committees each consisting of 5 members

c) the project successfully facilitated the training of young women committee members in community organising.
